Source of Inspiration "This painting was inspired by the need to find a quiet center in a busy world. I wanted to capture a place where time seems to stop- where the only movement is the slow ripple of the water and the swaying of the tall trees. The deep blues of the lake represent a calm, unwavering strength, while the lush green banks symbolize growth and life that flourishes when it is well-nourished. I included the small, empty boat at the shore as a symbol of surrender; it's an invitation to leave our worries behind and simply 'be' in the presence of nature. The tall trees framing the left side are the guardians of this peace, standing firm and reaching toward the light. I painted this to remind us that even when life feels chaotic, there is always a quiet shore waiting for us to return to ourselves. ducks are a reminder that life continues to move, swim, and thrive in the quietest corners. They suggest a story of companionship and the quiet courage it takes to simply exist, undisturbed and content, in a world that is always changing
